Michael Ghil gets elected to the Austrian Academy of Sciences

Michael Ghil has been elected on 10 May  2005 Korrespondierendes Mitglied im Ausland (Foreign Corresponding Member) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften).  This honor was accorded to only 9 people this year across all disciplines. His inaugural lecture will be scheduled in Spring 2006. The OeAW was founded in 1847.
