Michael Ghil delivers the Lorenz Lecture at the Fall AGU Meeting

The Lorenz Lecture provides an introduction to the role of nonlinearity, complexity, and scaling in earth science processes. Past Lorenz Lecturers have included Benoit Mandelbrot (2001), Donald Turcotte (2002), and Rafael Bras (2003). Michael Ghil lectured on The Earth as a Complex System, and a Simple Way of Looking at It.
