We have developed a rotating tank setup that can be incorporated into various AOS undergraduate and graduate courses to illustrate fundamental principles of rotating fluid dynamics, which often prove challenging when students first encounter them. This development was led by Jordyn Moscoso, under the guidance of Andrew Stewart and Gang Chen, and was supported by a UCLA CAT (formerly OID) grant during the 2018-2019 academic year.
