JIFRESSE has established two new awards for early career JIFRESSE members in 2023, including the JIFRESSE Outstanding Research Award and the JIFRESSE Outstanding Leadership/Service Award. 

Dr. Yizhou Zhuang is the inaugural recipient of the JIFRESSE Outstanding Leadership/Service Award, for his exceptional service as a member of the 2022 JIFRESSE Summer Internship Program (JSIP) Organization Committee.
