About Me

I am a third year PhD candidate in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (AOS) Department at UCLA.

I am a physical oceanographer who uses theory and numerics to understand geophysical flows in the ocean. My PhD thesis work involves problems of ocean dynamics in polar regions, and my interests lie broadly in geophysical fluid dynamics and turbulence.

I am co-advised by Jim McWilliams and Andrew Stewart.
