This year (2018) I have been asked to be a "Boat TA" for AOS103. Yes, they just came up with that title. Since we are taking out for the first time all the students in the class (almost 100 of them), rather than a smaller subsection as was done in previous years, the Marine Operations technician could use some support, and I joined the effort of preparing the cruises and captaining them. This was a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to work some more on boat instrumentation, data acquisition scripts, etc.
