TAing this class was a great experience due to the scope of interesting Physical Oceanography material covered.  It is interesting to me how teaching others also makes one see the material from new perspectives. The lecturer was Professor Andrew Stewart, one of my two PhD adivsors . Other than TAing, I had the opportunity to present one lecture (on vorticity). I also captained a couple of the boat trips, as I did in previous years, in which we demonstrate and immerse the students in observational methods and, well, observations.
